Adopting Toku: Day 88

In spite of it being autumn the girlfriend and I decided to do some spring cleaning as we both felt the house needed it. We’ve found that reducing clutter and donating any goods we don’t actively use or need to be a healthy and essential practice. Meanwhile, Toku is hard at work and couldn’t find time for so much as a break as he remains head-down and studying.

I think our lives have finally found a new, constant rhythm. One where Toku feels at home and trusts that we are as much his, as he is ours. Understanding where we fit into the world can be challenging but we all encounter it at some stage or another. Toku’s advice to those seeking to better understand is simple: make self-reflection a frequent habit.

Can’t believe I actually found this old thing from a conference I once attended in San Jose. It’s crazy to see how big some of the people that were there have become as either founders or developers in the space. Most of them deserving of it, some not so much but more importantly: look at how exceptionally well Toku wears this little piece of history.
